You can tell I live in Orange County

#1 Post by PlacentiaSoccerMom » Fri Oct 31, 2008 10:17 pm

Jeff carved McCain, Palin and Obama pumpkins.

Everyone said that they liked the McCain and Palin pumpkins. Nobody said anything about the Obama pumpkin.

What? No Biden pumpkin? What's that about? :|

Kudos to Jeff for the activity. I'm the pumpkin cleaner outer in our house, but I can't carve those fancy designs. I'm too impatient. My wife does the fancy cutting here.

They must not have had any pumpkin plugs, BiT. :P

Maybe we're happy that someone finally turned these mice back into pumpkins!

I was told to buy four pumpkins. Jeff started carving his pumpkins and Emma said that she wanted to do a pumpkin, too so she carved a kitty cat in the pumpkin meant for Biden. We jokingly refer to the cat as the Biden pumpkin.

Joe Biden looks like an uncarved pumpkin
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

One of the pumpkins was really spotty, so it worked perfectly for John McCain.

I only carved on pumpkin -- it's Obama. Folks liked it :) If I'd had the energy to do 2, I might have done a McCain or a Palin (cause they're scary!!!!)

Here's my Barack-o-Lantern:
