I was posting the followup to Sirge's post yesterday (since the same guy posted 8 reasons Obama might lose or will win). My wording is exactly the same as Sirge's yesterday. Only difference is a different poll quoted.

I was posting the followup to Sirge's post yesterday (since the same guy posted 8 reasons Obama might lose or will win). My wording is exactly the same as Sirge's yesterday. Only difference is a different poll quoted.

I believe that the column cited my post noted that the fella would post his "8 reasons Obama will win" the day following the article I cited.

And, as far as any poll from ABC/ Washington Post is concerned, you might as well cite an Obama camp poll.
I noted a poll with no dog in the hunt. Any poll from any media source is a joke, IMO. Even though I don't
pay too much mind to any of the polls, I am more likely to believe a poll by Gallup, Rasmussen or Zogby before
anything anyone in the media published.

This is the 35th straight day that Obama’s support has been between 50% and 52%. With the exception of yesterday, McCain’s support has stayed between 44% and 46% during that stretch (see trends).

Now, even though I've been saying for months that national polls are horses**t, I should note that Weasel forgot to post Gallup's most recent national poll. It has Obama up by 7 points amongst likely voters.

I don't want to hear any more polls.

I heard on the radio yesterday that we've had more polls taken in COtober alone than we did in all of the 2004 election season.

Now- the guy may have been BS-ing, but I can't ever remember an election season where there were so many polls taken and broadcasted.

Enough already. The only poll that counts will be completed on Tuesday (hopefully!)

Gallup now posts two "likely" voter models. The traditional model, which was used in past elections, has had McCain consistently closer than their newer model which weighs younger "likely" voters much more heavily. Which one is right will be determined, if at all, on Tuesday.
