Because Newark's mad!
In the middle of a long article about crime and Newark's image, there's this:
Two weeks ago, the mayor's office contacted the publicist of the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" after residents called to complain that one of the multiple-choice questions asked what is Hades and one of the possible choices was Newark, said director of communications Desiree Peterkin Bell.
Bell said the city is setting up a meeting with the show's publicist and will request a formal apology. "Millionaire" publicist Trisha Miller confirmed the question appeared on the daytime show but declined further comment.

Newark reminded me of back home, though I wasn't outside in the city long enough to notice if they had silver flake showers....
And they will be getting no apology from me for that. Especially after eating at that joke of a KFC the airport had......

Maybe that's the real reason Newark is upset.

It's not smart to pick on WE territory! It reminds me of earlier this year when a morning jock on my favorite Long Island station picked on a L.I. town that was a a large source of the station's listeners.
On today's news, there was another story of HS football games being postponed due to last week's incidents of violence.

The high school backed off from that and are playing as scheduled. There was a stupid rumor about violence at Halloween.
