Don't cut your finger!
Chili it is...and the tomatoes I bought are in cans with tabs to open them. No can opener required. :D

Pilates? Should I or shouldn't I? Opinions welcome, for those
of you who have tried it. A new class is starting tomorrow.

I have to have a mat to bring to the Pilates class. That may
stop me right there. I don't have time to go one today and the class is at 8
in the morning.

Doesn't Mecca offer a discount? I understand stores are reinstating

We are not bringing back layaway.

I don't miss it. Our backroom is much clearer, and the cancelled layaways were a major PITA.....

Nope, they are fully invested in whoring out the Wal~Mart credit card to everyone who goes through the checkout line now. Of course, with the way things are now in the credit market, that's not looking like such a hot idea.....

Why is this thread--clearly addressed to me--still active even though I haven't posted in it since Saturday?

You are asking that, and you've been on this Bored how long?

I'm pretty sure there have been very long winded threads with my name in the subject line that I didn't post in at all......

Sounds like a good plan to me!

Maybe not the mint and cheesecake combo, but I'm on board with the concept!

The woman was an experienced snake person (I won't say handler because the whackjobs have coopted that phrase). However, she went to work on Monday, didn't show up on Tuesday morning, and her husband found her Tuesday night when he returned from being at sea with the Navy. So it looks like he's out of the picture, suspect-wise.

Unless he HIRED someone! Yeah--that's the ticket!

Okay, now it's exactly like the plot of Death on the Nile! Right down to the bloody J on the bedpost (the whiteboard message) and being under sedation (at sea).

My sister hates me for that still. The movie was on and she wouldn't let me come in the room because I hadn't seen it and missed the beginning. So we planned to watch it together when it came on again after midnight and we drank a bunch of tea all day so we could stay awake, then the movie started and I said "
