Slept in. Very out of character.
Not even grocery shopping or sewing today. Family1111 is picking up the slack.
But not feeling as flushed, just really lethargic.
In case anyone wanted an up-date.

I'm sorry that you are feeling lethagic.
I think that you are a classic case of a mom who does too much and you need a "mental health" day to chill. I know that it's really hard to do, let your family pick up the slack for you.
I hope that you feel better, but enjoy your day!

My get up and go must have got up and went somewhere with yours! I suppose it was because I had extra scrubbing to do to get ready for an overnight guest on Friday, then my dad stopped by yesterday so I did extra shopping and cooking to make him a nice meal. Today I feel like doing absolutely nothing, but I guess I'll have to finish loading up the dishes and toss a couple loads in the wash.
I may nap if Erin winds down, but it's not looking good....

Well, if that isn't calling the kettle black, I don't know what is!
I am working on the not feeling guilty part while up-dating Swampyturtles on the Jets game.
I wish I felt up to sewing as that is something I really enjoy, but it will have to be some other day

You moms with busy houses need to enjoy your days of vegetation. They're highly underrated, and are needed to help you continue to function.
I'm picking up your slack today by cleaning our ceramic tile floor grout throughout the house. And there's a lot.

Hope you feel better, Christie. I got busy and sprayed everything here with Clorox Hard Surface
sanitizing spray in hopes it will get rid of the germs I've been collecting since Friday and just
maybe I won't come down with whatever the little has.
No Sunday lunch today as everyone was busy with other stuff, but they'll be here tonight instead. I can't complain as I really don't cook any other night of the week.

Yesterday was a very busy day. Did 2 loads of laundry in the morning, and in the afternoon went to Chemainus to see a wonderful production of the Miracle Worker. There were my Mom, 2 nieces, Big J and myself. About a 2 hour drive each way, but totally enjoyable. Came home and made a slow cooker stew.
Today I got up, had some coffee, then went back to bed for two hours. Read and vegged all day.

My ADHD Twitchy Teenager was glued to his seat, with his chin in his hands, leaning so far towards the stage I was worried he would drool on the patron in front of him
He barely moved, breathed or blinked for the two hours, and, to me, that is success.
