aka Rudy Ray Moore, comic and singer and inspiration to many rap and hip hop artists of today. Moore was a night club comic whose routine featured extremely crude language and sexual humor. One of his favorite characters Dolemite was turned into a very cheap blaxploitation film, with Moore himself in the lead role of a pimp/martial arts expert whose hookers helped him fight the bad guys. Despite the practically non-existent acting quality and production qualities, the film made Moore a cult legend. Dolemite coined the phrase "as bad as I wanna be" in describing himself.
