QOD Tuesday-week 3

#1 Post by ulysses5019 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 2:28 am

Scoring is 2, 4, 6 or 8. Use each point value only once.

Today's topic is movies:

Which 2001 movie had the tagline, "No Laws. No Limits. One Rule. Never Fall In Love."?

Yesterday's answer was Miami, Fl and Puerto Rico. All sources I saw stated that these two points and Bermuda itself set the boundries of the Triangle. Those who answered correctly but had an odd numbered wager were scored at the next higher value.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Correction: "Which 2001 travesty of a movie...."

My vote for the worst popular movie of this millennium goes to (for 8 points): MOULIN ROUGE!

Just an awful movie, and one that literally made me sick. Had Baz Luhrman had an editor with an ounce of talent, it might have worked. MIGHT.

Nah, it still would have sucked.

Note, I edited to move the pithy comment out of the spoiler header, since it might give someone who knows how much I hated this movie a clue.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

I saw part of this movie before I went to sleep. My mom had to buy a DVD of it because it's no Rent. (That's my own personal joke.)

The movie's title is Moulin Rouge. I can't remember what I bet yesterday, but I will say 8 if I haven't used that up, or 6 if I have.
