People are no doubt resting in anticipation of the opening of the Quadrennial Bored Presidential Prophesy Contest.

Or, maybe no one's had coffee yet.
I am about 25% sure of this.

No, it's not.

I don't want to join the political discussions, don't even feel like commenting in transcript threads. I'll just sit here quietly while I decide if I have a scrap of enthusiasm for anything. :|

Some people are just biding their time doing other things while waiting for other people to show up.....

I have never fallen asleep at the computer before. Even on mornings when I didn't have my daily "entertainment".....

I keep the Bored open in one window and wander off on other windows all the time....

Like, everybody jokes about that but I wonder how many people have literally fallen asleep and had a normal night's sleep face down (or to the side, depending on the falling position) on their desk.

I have a video of my oldest son asleep face-first on the desk when he was about 8 years old. And it's not like he was doing boring homework, either--he was playing my CD-ROM slot machine program!

Slots ARE pretty boring, actually...

I have found you to be thoroughly entertaining this morning.....

But when I say "entertaining", I really mean "annoying", and you know who I'm referring to..... :P

I think I'm entertaining in the realm of "what mess is she going to make I'll have to clean up?" or "how many MM will I have to designate today?" That kind of "entertaining".... :P

We had a maintenance guy fired a couple years ago when they fell asleep at the computer terminal doing training modules. The manager came in, snapped a Polaroid (Complete with flash), and he just continued to snore away......

He did not leave quietly when he was finally awoken.......

Training modules are the worst. I don't know who came up with that idea, but they are almost always sleep inducers. I'd say photo evidence doesn't leave much room for protest.

I got a late start.

I did get to watch 2 episodes of Mad Men while I was on my elliptical.

Still way too much political stuff for me to bother to open, much less post a response.
