Question for California attorneys

Seriously, I need help for a friend here who is trying to get a child support case straightened out.
They filed some papers which were returned with a Notice of Rejection - Pleadings. It says the document does not comply with California Rules of Court, rule 2.100. Please re-submit on the mandatory form.

However, it doesn't give you what the mandatory form might be. Any of you know and could you send me a link to it, maybe?

Rule 2.100 simply says that local (i.e., county-level) rules regarding the form of papers have been pre-empted. I'm not a family lawyer, but I believe that most family law pleadings must be done on a required form. Try searching "California Judicial Council" to see if your friend can find the appropriate form. --Bob

Thanks, Bob. I think they may need to retain a California attorney. The attorney here just sent the petition without any of the forms I see on the website. Yikes, there are hundreds of them! It would have been helpful had the letter California sent just simply put the required form number in their letter!!
