I have to admit that I'm spoiled...extremely spoiled especially when it comes to Buble' concerts. My friend Lori typically goes for the TM auction for front row seats. She has been successful each time, not necessarily getting us front and center, but front and side stage isn't bad at all...until this past Sat. UGH! Our seats were more like 2nd row (parallel to the 2nd row in the center section) and side, side stage. If I were to look directly in front of me, I would be looking at the curtain used for backstage access, the sound board, and well nothingness. Look to the left, I saw mostly speakers. It was clearly an obstructed view, pun intended. I'm still thinking about writing an email to TM and the venue just for pure fact that the tix should have clearly read obstructed view.
With all this fussing, I still enjoyed myself for the most part. I'll have pix ready sometime in the next couple of days or so to share. The opening act was a comedian rather than Naturally7 (they were in Vegas opening for Jay Leno at the Mirage). I made a sign saying "Where's Jamal?" and a frowny face on the back. Buble' saw it and said sorry.
I missed them. The comedian was super nervous, had too much dead time, and was booed several times. YIKES!
