The air quality's so bad it's like living in a fireplace. It's seeping in through the cracks. The latest fire just cropped up about 7 miles from here in Porter Ranch, and they're evacuating those folks to Chatsworth High, the same location they used for the train wreck a few weeks back. Scary stuff.
We live in the "flats," so the actual fire shouldn't be a threat here, but it's sure getting hard to breathe. Ashes everywhere.

I always worry about my southern California friends when I hear about these
fires. I've been told sometimes I over react. I hope everyone is safe and things improve soon.

Yikes! I thought California would be moving into the rainy season, this month, when those brushfires stop being a danger.
