Melly caught the story as well...I'm surprised you guys found it!

It came out in the VG while we were there last week, so I brought home a copy of the paper for another friend who found it hard to believe. I wasn't able to meet the woman on this trip, but I did meet her friend. They were two American girls working on a cruise ship; both met and married Norwegian dudes and now live about an hour from each other.

Cool story, imo. It's uplifting to hear of kind acts, no matter who they involve. :D
