Paging Mr. Morrow

#1 Post by AnnoyingParkAttraction » Tue Oct 07, 2008 8:29 am

Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring.

I can't wait to go stimulate the economy tomorrow! It's too late to cancel, so I guess I'll go make the best of it and have a blast with my baby girl!
It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all...

I'll only miss two Bored Days since I leave at night and usually skip the weekends, so you don't get much of a break from my nonsense. :P

I just think it will be great to do the "little things" and save the FastPasses for Toy Story and Peter Pan rather than all the biggies we usually have to use them on. And she's not such a Princess Nut that I'll spend all my time chasing down heavily-made-up and scantily-clad actresses for autographs (NTTAWWT, the guys are thinking...)

We have tickets to the Halloween party on Thursday night and she can dress as Cinderella and go Trick or Treat and get it out of her system so we can be normal the rest of the trip. "Normal" being relative here...

I'd say that last line's quite an understatement.....

And who would've ever thought that Disney World would have Princess Hos running around.....

Let's just say the Jasmine line usually has the Daddies accompanying their little girls. And Ariel's Grotto has quite a few Dads checking out her clamshells...

Have fun, mini and Erin! 8)

You mentioned that Stephen bailed out on this trip. Did he have a reason?

Surely he's not getting too old for Disney World?

Two words:

X

Box.

Okay, maybe not really, but he'd have to ride most stuff alone since we couldn't just leave Erin at the Space Mountain entrance by herself while we went together. Plus he was sure he'd have school projects assigned over the break, and then he found out he really was getting the only present he wanted for his birthday: an XBox. And he also got Guitar Hero along with some annoying car-chase game. So he'd rather spend his downtime playing his treasure instead of either riding alone or joining us on the kiddie rides.

You will have a wonderful time, Miss Annoying! Miss Erin is very lucky to have such nice all-by-herself time with her mom. (I know. I hardly ever get all-by-myself time with mine.)

While you're there, would you please ask Mr. Disney why I am not allowed in either his land or his world? Four-footers like to be princesses, too!

I have the feeling that some four-footer's Mommies are considerably less thoughtful than your Mommy is. I've seen people bring doggies on the boardwalks at Yellowstone that are off-limits to four-footers for safety reasons--one false move, and you are boiled. Add an inattentive Dog Mom to an inattentive Stroller-pushing Mom, and you get Squished Doggie....

If I got boiled, my mom would take me to see Mr. Dr. David, and let him use her credit card, and he would fix me right up! I've already been squished, though, so I wouldn't want to do that again.

I still would like to be a princess sometime.

I'm officially jealous. We'll be going to Disneyland in two weeks, but nothing beats the Magic Kingdom. And TTA is an APA??? I hardly think so!

But you already are, Miss Annie, you already are.

I think there's some sort of exclusivity thing in Mr. Pluto's contract. Of course, Mr. Goofy is also a canine four-footer, but nobody seems to have told him.

Oh, thank you, Mr. T.

I didn't know about the Pluto contract thing. His agent must not be very good if they didn't negotiate a clause that, at the very least, would permit him to bring a date to special events.

My theory on Goofy is that he knows he's a dog, but -- like me -- he likes to participate in both two- and four-footer societies, and he's afraid that narrow-minded twofers would ignore him if he lets on. (I am hopeful that if I can become a famous composer, I may help him come out of the doghouse closet, so to speak.) He needs somebody to advise him on his wardrobe, though. That hat must go!

You are a princess, Annie. But I insist your mom get you a new Halloween costume this year.

I'll speak to her about that. :)

You may speak, but it probably won't do any good. It's very difficult to find costumes for extra large dogs. Annie's pumpkin is too small for her to wear as the pumpkin designer intended, but it's evidently comfortable for her and she wears it with panache. She doesn't want to take it off when the doorbell stops ringing and the night is over.

Annie has read in books that some people sew original costumes for their very large dogs. I have assured Annie that those books are fiction.

Want to give me a waist size?

Would Annie prefer pink or blue?

I'm not exactly sure where her waist begins. She has a very large chest that tapers back to a relatively small waist just in front of her legs. (I may have just described Dolly Parton.) She's napping right now, but when she gets upright I will try to sneak up behind her with a tape measure. Undoubtedly she would like pink, seeing as how she's announced her desire to be a princess and all. (I'm out of the Disney princess loop. Don't princesses wear pink and Cinderella wears blue?)

If you seriously are offering to make her a princess skirt, I will find a tiara for her and take a photo to share.

Woo hoo! We can do anything around here. I can't wait to see the photos!
You can get a tiara at any old party store. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll get it! :D

I think it can be arranged.

My pink tulle collection may need to be updated.

So diameter and length would help.

I see that there is an untapped market for the costumes of extra large dogs. :o

It is just a shame that I am so busy cooking virtual food and actually quilting to fit this business into the mix.
