No not the debate.

Milwaukee down 0-2.

Chicago Cubs down 5 runs and could go 0-2.

How sweet it would be if Milwaukee and the Cubs get swept.

Take THAT Bud Selig!

How communist is this? Nothing to do with the debate?

Plus, even having lived there decades ago, I must swoon for the Cubs in general.
Well, then

The Cubs game is only in the FOURTH INNING??

I was going back and forth between that and the debate so I guess I didn't get a sense of it.

Of course, it didn't start until 9:30 p.m., so it's not as bad as it seems, timewise.

Uh oh, SC's mountain goat may not be the only goat that is alive and kicking tonight. Once again I feel for lily and NE1410S.

I'll go ahead and feel for em, as long as the Cubbies still can't win the big one.

USF managed to blow a big lead against Pitt and it looks like Pitt will win the football game, barring a turnover by Pitt or something drastic in the past 2 minutes of the game.

I intuit there must be a few Pitt fans around here. Maybe?

Aw, thanks, snaxx...I'm too old to cry and it hurts too much to laugh. :D

I was born there, but don't get the Cubs Love. I'd rather they made it than a Phillies/Red Sox series, though. Ugh and Double Ugh.

(Sorry, mel, but, no. My husband went to school in Philly but can't stand the sports teams....)

I'm thinking Minute Maid Park might not be structurally sound enough yet to host any Major League Baseball games. I'm sure the Astros wouldn't mind playing the 2009 season in Miller Park. I know I sure wouldn't mind getting revenue for 162 home games....
