Skoop! The condoms!

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:15 pm

The DVD thingie in Beedum's paper reminded me of the condom distribution question.

Did you ask?

If you did, what'd they say?

I asked but did not get a response.

It was an email ask, rather than face to face. 19 more people leave tomorrow from the newsroom (about a hundred companywide), so I will wait until next week to try again.

I am glad that you still have a job and hope that the people who do not, will have one soon.

Most of them were able to line up something. The one I like the most is leaving voluntarily to move to Chicago with her new boyfriend. She will have no trouble finding freelance design jobs there.

A day like today, I feel as if I can get through it and even make things better for some people. I got plenty of sleep, lifted weights for a few minutes which is always energizing, and for the first time in weeks my back does not hurt.

I have promised myself a new Westin hotel bed at the end of the year once I save up to buy it with cash. I mean I will use plastic but I will have the money ready to cover it. Then my back won't hurt again, at least not this pinched disc part of it. I thought the memory foam would be good, and I do still like it when I go to sleep. But when you wake up sore it is not a good sign......

I never heard of a Westin Hotel Bed - I am glad you have a goal and have confidence it will aid your back.

They have more coils, I think.

Westin beds are absolutely the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I usually have a hard time sleeping, but I have never had any trouble on those few occasions I could afford to stay at a Westin.

That being said, If you're having that much back pain, and memory foam's not helping, I'm not sure more coils will either.

Of course, they say stress can contribute mightily to waking up with pain. I hope that part of it is gone soon.
