There should be an "edit" button above your post. Click on that and the edit window should open with the contents of that message. I thought the contestant was a bit of a jerk. At least twice Meredith saved his ass in the final seconds while he was jabbering away and not paying attention to the clock. His response was not, "Thanks for saving me from my own carelessness." Instead, he chastised her and said he wasn't worried, so she shouldn't be worried.

I don't think there's any big problem with this question. The guy called Ogi for help, and he said he was leaning toward Washington, but wasn't 100% sure. The contestant went with Washington and was correct.
I was in Seattle last year and saw the extensive ferry infrastructure in the area. I have every reason to believe that Washington is the correct answer. The contestant got it right, so there is no controversy. I don't recall the exact wording of the question, so I don't know if there's some way of measuring "largest" where the answer would be something other than Washington.

That's what I try to do, too. But since the transcripts are never a word-for-word record of all the bantering, there's always the opportunity for a little subjectivity to creep into deciding what's important or interesting to include. You're right - the comments seemed to imply to me that Massachusetts was the correct answer. I was shocked it wasn't Washington, so I went out to verify it.
