The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Ignoring the direct political content of the post--but not avoiding the political humor aspect--I don't think any political candidates are necessarily trivia game experts.
And I'd be cautious about their ability to answer any question clearly and directly in under 30 seconds.
