Once you go Mac, you never go back.
I have a little MacBook. Love it. I love the simplicity of it, and the fact that in-person help is easy to get at any Apple store.
The only drawback for me has been accessing documents that are in Word or Works. I elected not to get the software that enables one to work with such documents...it's only been a problem a few times, not enough for me to justify spending the money on it. But it will be necessary if you need to download anything like that on a regular basis.

I have begun using openoffice.org for such documents (I have nothing for Excel or docx files). It's a little slow, but free (or cheap, I forget which). It's in beta.

Tell me about any graphics that can be done only on a Mac nowadays.
Macs were sold to people who needed their graphics capabilities over ten years ago. People got used to the interface so still buy new Macs when needed.
