top o' the mornin'®

Funny that our BBs (most of them, at least), who were most directly affected by Ike have their power restored while many of us hundreds of miles away are still in the dark. This is day 4 of the power outage and it's ceasing to be amusing. There are only so many things one can do by flashlight or candle. However there is hope - street lights were on in the next block, so maybe our power will be restored by the time I get home this evening.

I have an album by The Bacon Brothers (Kevin and Michael).

Kevin does an intro to a song he wrote while in Mexico during a hurricane. He said that kind of weather is only good for two things and one of them is writing songs.

Made me laugh.

I wonder if there will be a lot of babies born in your area in nine months as a result of the power outage.
