It's a Not so Small World after all

I heard this on the radio the other day-and it doesn't surprise me.

Disneyland in California is going to close the "It's A Small World" ride starting in January of 2008 for 10 months because they need to make the trench that the boats operate in deeper-because we patrons are getting FATTER. That's right-the Disney folks are afraid of those boats getting stuck because of overweight people riding in them. The guy on the radio said that the average American has become 25 pounds heavier than they were when the "Small World" ride opened for the 1964 Worlds' Fair.

Hmmm, maybe they should stop selling junk food at the park, too?
