Top ten reasons you've just been kicked out of Bored chat

#1 Post by AlphaDummy » Mon Sep 08, 2008 7:27 am

From the Home Office, where we do occasionally take requests...heeeeeere we go...

10) Your four-footer gets PO'd about having to wait to be fed, and pulls the plug on you

9) It's all the fault of the (choose one: Dems/GOP/Whigs)

8) Hamsters running mainframe power generator are covered by union rules and get 5-minute break every hour

7) You see, there are the sunspots, and El Nino, and the Coreolis effect - it's all soooo complicated

6) Suspicious stash of acorns in the back of your tower unit interferes with CPU cooling fan and causes your motherboard to overheat

5) Like Basic Bored Chat? Well, for only $39.95 a month...

4) You may not have noticed, but a tornado just passed over your house and took out your phone lines

3) System automatically detects and disconnects one-handed typists

2) Downloading all of LB's BB portraits overloaded your hard drive and caused a system crash

1) Signal from WGAS tower causes massive interference to your computer

How about:

Your name is Mr. Showtimeness, and you're from Nigeria.

You mentioned the upcoming election and got dog-piled by the other chatters.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Yeah, well I wasn't expecting AD's next list to be this soon, even though we did bait him into this one last night in chat.....

It got me to finish it faster than I expected.....

Brilliant!

I was considering feeling guilty about being part of the crew who talked AD into this and consequently rushed LB on a pic, but considering both results, I ain't gonna.

Yeah, my bad too. Nah!

Hey, ES? I think you have a typo in the headline though.

Typing doesn't count in chat, but it might here!

D'oh! And I even checked it before I posted it, because of how bad I am at typos (I had to correct 3 in this post alone!)...

It's now fixed, I hope...

This is a most excellent drawing and a great list! I hope that "bring an animal" wasn't the typo that Miss Christie meant. I think that everybody should bring animals places, and especially me.

I have never met Mr. Alpha in person, but he makes a very handsome stunk.

Or maybe another species Wisconsin is famous for....

If anyone's going to bring an animal, it should be a squirrel. We are quite handy to have around, and are much better behaved than greyhounds....

I am not the father of that baby! I'm merely visiting at 3 a.m. because I am concerned about the well-being of a former acquaintance and employee who might need more money to keep her mouth shu..., I mean, to buy formula.
