How funny. I have never managed to see myself on a GNS rerun. At least I've stopped beating myself up for not winning a fast finger. Sort of.

My channel guide says that Millionaire is coming up again at the top of the hour. I'll check then to see if it's a rerun of the same episode.

They showed you one last time before the show ended. You look lovely in that shade of green!

I was surprised to see that the ROF folks aren't held over for the next show... I never realized that before. What a bummer! That's a LOT of people they had to shuffle in and out every day...sheesh. Did you play in the ROF more than once?

Must be a different episode. My record of non-rerun-watching holds for another weekend.

Isn't that odd. You'd think they'd be showing the same programming nationwide... Here, a John O'Hurley Family Feud just started.

Thanks. That green was my lucky jacket, until it got retired that night. In those days, the people in the ROF got one episode, which might provide only a single FF question or several, to make it to the hot seat. Only a person continuing in the hot seat would be held over to the next show. Meanwhile back at the Empire Hotel, 10 more contestants were meeting with the contestant coordinator in preparation for the next night's taping.

I was in the ROF only once, and on the syndicated show a couple of years later.

I thought they showed the same thing everywhere, too. I am surprised by the discrepency.

Things work out the way they do for a reason. I wonder if you would have done as well as you ultimately did, if you'd have played immediately after winning a fastest finger? I would probably have been in a shocked daze, and tanked immediately - lol. I think I'd rather be psyched and ready, knowing I was going on next. Nervous, yes - but prepared. Then again, the band-aid rip off technique did work out fine for many.

A lot of unlucky people have had their derrieres in my seat for 60 minutes. Poor souls....
