I'm not man enough to go through the procedure. I might consider a henna tattoo - heck, while elwing will be gone I need something to amuse myself.

I have never heard of a man having
mehndi. You might have to dress up like a woman to get it done. But that could also fall under the category of amusing yourself. Ha!
Push it real good!

What I meant to say was that I might get a drawn-on tattoo rather than a permanent one. I didn't realize that there was a specific type of henna tattoo (
mehndi). As the saying goes, "you learn something new every day."

When we had a day celebrating our Indian coleagues, we had people who would draw mendhi for you. The men do indeed get them. More likely in more geometrical patterns while the women have the more floral ones.
Mine lasted 3-4 days.

Never have anyone use the so-called black henna on you. Many people are allergic to it and it will cause major scars in the pattern, just like you were branded!
