And maybe the best player to have come out of what was then the Evansville College Purple Aces (now the University of Evansville). Many people know about Indiana University's undefeated season in 1975-76, but fewer know about the 1964-65 Purple Aces, 29-0 and College Division champs for the second year in a row. Sloan was a three-time all-American at Evansville College under legendary coach Arad McCutchan.
