RIP Sidney Nettles

You can never be sure who will write your obituary

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I'm very sorry for your loss. --Bob

A wonderfully written tribute. I'm sure he would've loved it.

I'm so sorry. Sounds like he was a true gem. Many prayers.

Mr. theman, me and my little sis and our mom all send our very deepest sorries to you and your family. Given my previous professional experience with free-rangers, I am particularly sad that I didn't live closer to him so I could try to protect him from Bad Things. (I didn't even know that free-ranger humans came in that flavor, but now I do, and I will try to watch out for them in a tribute to your brother. I sent an eyelid message to Annie, and she said that BeBe and her would find him and be his best friens for as long as he wanted.
