Jeopardy GOAT Observations
I'm surprised that two days of the tournament have gone by with no one posting about it, but I had a couple of observations.
1) The double jeopardy questions especially are tough. I wouldn't have fared all that well.
2) I'm wondering if there's something wrong with Brad Rutter. He simply hasn't been in those first two games at all, and it's not just a case of buzzer slowness. He hasn't done well on the daily doubles while the other two have cleaned up.

Yep. I think most of the questions have been brutal and Brad is definitely not up to snuff. Sorta weird.

Brad does seem to be off. I expected him to do much better as he's the only one of the three who competes regularly. Maybe it's the buzzer. I know I'd have problems with it now as I've demonstrated at TCONA.

I'm surprised that Holhauer missed the DD about garnet. Most football fans know that one of the nicknames of Florida State is the "garnet and gold."

Casa Sprots had a great time with this. Last Wednesday was the perfect evening in -- J! at 6, GOAT J! at 7, and Vikings at 8. I had to play bridge tonight, but SteelersFan texted me the result.
I was so proud of myself last week when I knew a triple stumper because for the most part, all three of them left me in the dust with these more difficult questions.
