It looks like the biggest driver of the Governor's successful reelection bid was his support for and implementation of Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act. I believe that also had a lot to do with the election of Andy Bashear in Kentucky (although Gov. Bevin is uniquely unpopular in the Commonwealth) and the election of Laura Kelly in Kansas, not to mention the Democratic takeover of the House in 2018.

I wonder if Republicans still intend to continue trying to cripple the Affordable Care Act. --Bob
