Because it's never dull

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Mon Nov 07, 2011 5:50 pm

Over the weekend, Oklahoma had multiple earthquakes. Today, we are having multiple tornadoes. Tomorrow is a new day, so perhaps we can find a new affliction to keep things interesting.

Maybe. I'll let you know, if I remain among you (and if you're right, I'll be fabulously tan!)

Now, when is the big rock supposed to be so close to earth? I may put my bike helmet on again.

We felt the quaking here in Dallas. What did your four footers do when the shaking started? Oklahoma sure has had more than its fair share of calamities. Send the rest to my favorite state, Michigan.

I can't do that, Geoffil, not even for your birthday. I don't want to risk getting one of those stern e-mails from Kazoo.

The dogs went into panic mode. BeBe ran under my desk. Lizbit ran outside to make it stop.

No thanks, Silver, I don't want an earthquake-or a tornado.

We're supposed to get a lot of rain over the next couple of days-it has already started. Then it's supposed to get cooler-we've been enjoying unusually mild weather lately with temps in the upper 50's-low 60's.

That makes it weird when I'm shopping and I see Christmas stuff in every store. It's way too early.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Let's not call that down on your head!

For one thing, the impact would be big enough to share with a lot more than Oklahoma...

Sheesh! ANOTHER one about an hour ago. herjosie was barking, but didn't know what she was barking at.

Now we have thunder and lightning out to the west. I'm thinking bike helmet AND water wings are in order.

I don't know what tomorrow has in store, but I think we should prepare for a blizzard on Wednesday. It's not in the weather forecast, but we should prepare anyway.

I did a relieved exhale when I saw this was not about a four-footer being unwell.

Hope your weather becomes more sane.

Leave it ES to put the fun spin on impending disaster.

Good work, ES! I'm still chuckling.

I love the avatar, LB! Please tell ES thank you for me.

The fact that both dogs' expressions and postures are exact reproductions is proof that ES spends a great deal of time in my back yard.
