Toddlers at Chili's

#1 Post by cindy.wellman » Mon Apr 04, 2011 9:16 pm

We had lunch at Chili's this weekend in a nice booth with Sam and Eric sitting across from me. It was so funny to watch them almost do a triple take at someone who was walking by our table. Sam kept looking, and then looking back at me like she was looking at something she shouldn't be. I could only see the back of who this was after she passed. It was a little girl, probably about 5, with BIG HUGE HONKIN' HAIR and a little body. Sam said her little face had a ton of make up on it.

Shortly after that, more of the party arrived with more little girls and more moms. It was weird to hear the somewhat typical kid sounds coming from all these little made-up people. They were really whiny, and probably hungry. The moms were chatting away and seemed to be annoyed at the kids. It was odd to hear the whines from what would appear to be a much older face. It made me sad.

When you watch Toddlers & Tiaras or Little Miss Perfect, you can't help but
wonder if these kids have any semblance of a normal life. The mom's are
in it for themselves as much as the poor toddlers.

Big Hair is definitely the correct description for most of the poor little things!

I was a runway model at two and I turned out OK.

These are the same exact Moms who will be horrified when their girls tell them they're pregnant at 16...and they'll never get the connection.
