Let's look at the bright side - it could have been a lot worse and I could have been riding with you!

Oh No!

Was it a fatal injury to the LBN?

At least you have a lot of moral support even if there are no scritches for ES.

Hope you and the LBN are up and running soon, despite any weather that may be in the way.

I am fine other than getting another battle scar. But apparently my operator was trying to use me as an instrument of death today, not just for the innocent citizens of Norman, but for Beebs and Sprots too. If I didn't want to get back to my comfy garage so badly, I'd see to it he had to walk home tomorrow.....

Good luck getting home. We had freakish weather here yesterday...sunny and windy in LA during the day, then I went down to Long Beach and we had rain and hail. Put the LBN into four wheel drive and drive carefully.

I don't get four wheel drive in the LBN unless I cut a hole in the floor and do the Fred Flintstone.....

I hope you're home and safe as I type this.

I ran into a horrific windstorm between Amarillo and Tucumcari. No incidents of particular note -- there was one spot where the wind seemed determined to put an 18-wheeler and my car in the same lane, but I punched it and got outta the way without any problem.

Then I ran into a snow squall a little north of Cuba where the Continental Divide is, but it wasn't sticking -- vroom! and I was soon into bright sunshine again.

Home again, home again, jiggety jog.

SC (and her colleagues, I hasten to add) is incredibly talented. What a show!

LB's latest avatar is completely phonied up.

Ick!

I dint -- there was no ES to say it to.

I'm saying it now, of course, to fit the horrible phonied-up avatar.

I was rong.

I was sure my arm and shoulder would be sore today after bowling 3+ games yesterday after a 15-year layoff. It's a little sore, but not noticeable unless I do this (well, quit doing that!).

Instead, I'm sore from left knee to left hip. Very strange.

Poor baby!

Other than the black cloud that insisted on following lb around, the weekend was a blast. I've friended Gridiron on FB and am looking forward to doing this all again next year.

If you're doing it right, that's where you should be sore. Bowl with your legs, not your arms.....
