Obligatory FNGD shoe non sequitur

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Fri Jun 13, 2008 8:47 pm

I got sandals today -- Tevas, in blue leather. I haven't had sandals in about 15 years. These are so cute I will wear them even if my toenail falls off, as it seems to want to do.

Oooh. They sound pretty.

My favorite sandals are Mephistos I got in Chicago two years ago. More $$ that I'd ever spent on a pair of sandals but SO comfortable and they will last for a long time.

Did you have something land on your toenail?

Hope it feels better.

But if it turns blue before it falls off, will it match the sandal?

The toenail problem dates back to the Gridiron Show. When I came home the last night, my toe was bleeding. A couple of days later, I realized there was an infection beneath the nail. Now the toe is healthy, but the toenail of that period is not looking good.

I don't wear sandals but I've had a couple of pairs of sneakers at one time or another that have had almost enough holes in 'em to qualify as sandals.

Don't mind me, I'm just crashing this thread. I love my Rainbow sandals. Of course if you live in southern California, they are mandatory. And I thought Carrie's blue Manolos were not that attractive.

Didn't make it to play this week, but had to share the newest addition to my shoe collection. These little beauties work great with my baby blue scooter -- and even earned an "atta girl" from a police officer yesterday!

And the best part? I found them on sale at Famous Footwear for less than half of the Zappos price!

I dunno Hermillion.....I just don't think I could bring myself to put those on my feet. 8)

Since I wear sandals almost everyday, my ugly toenail that came off a couple of months ago is now almost completely back to normal. Thank goodness for small favors. Think I'll go get a pedicure today. :)
