STARTER - This Barack Obama confidant and money-raiser had a great-great-great-grandfather who lived near the little town of Ste-Victoire-de-Sorel east of Montreal, and then emigrated to the United States.

You've mentioned him in the past. It's Pouffle, or Pfouffle. Something like that.

All the Plouffes are related.

In fact, all French-Canada is related. :D :D

(There was one guy with almost that last name when Jean Talon did his census in about 1660, IIRC, and he is the progenitor of the name).

And yes, I do mean HIS census....
