Grand Giveaway Week - All contestants start with $1,000.

Wayne Scott (Carry-over contestant)
Astoria, NY
Actor

Wayne's acting career is really starting to take off. He has played a body in Law & Order.

Wayne still has all his lifelines.

$16,000

Wayne: All right, I think I'm going to have to use another lifeline.

PAF: Wayne: calls Christa, his fiancee.

Christa: Uh, WD-40.

Wayne: You sure?

Christa: I'm pretty--about 80% sure.

Wayne: I love you!

Christa: I love you, too!

Meredith: That's a lot of pressure on her; a fiancee answering that question.

Wayne: Well, it's more pressure to marry me.

Millionaire's Grand Giveaway $1,000 Winners
Linda Bynum - Grand Junction, CO
Ron Gildenberg - Houston, TX
Donna Holbrook - Grayson, KY
Ed Mayer - Midland Park, NJ
Tammy Walker - Rutherford, TN

-- Commercial Break --

Wayne's financee is a designer, so knowing the WD-40 answer makes sense.

All of the money is going towards the wedding, none of it's going to Wayne.

$100,000
Because of its lunar-like topography, which of these countries served as a training ground for many of the Apolla astronauts?

Clint Eastwood filmed his Iwo Jima movies in Iceland because it was the only place that had the same black sand terrain as Iwo Jima (where the Japanese government would not let them film). If you have seen either of these films, Iceland would be the standout answer.

$50K: Ask the audience. See if they have a clue. If nothing scores over 50%, do the 50:50 as well. Assuming the audience is right with 50+%...

$100K: PAF. Not sure how easy this is to Google, but somebody on this Bored might know without the Google.

$100K #2: NAFC®... I'm glad I never would've seen this question.

As a mother I know grease cuts grease, so I thought the crayon question was incredible easy. Most moms have had to deal with crayons at least once.

I do believe this is at least twice this week that a female has been used as a PAF.

But SOX isn't compiling data on the PAFs that male contestants use!

When I saw the question, my immediate thought was "I know that WD-40 will dissolve the wax from a crayon." My next thought was, "How do you remove the stain from the WD-40?"

That's when you get out the Shout or Spray & Wash to remove the grease.

[MBFFB]WHY? Isn't a majority with no strong second-place contender good enough for you?[/MBFFB]

Reasonable, if you do laundry and/or have kids. Otherwise a tough question and a lifeline burner.

As long as the WD-40 doesn't dissolve the synthetic fabric, you're okay. The stain you end up with isn't from the WD-40 itself, but from the spread of the dissolved crayon dyes in the WD-40-soaked areas. Further applications should get it out, but it'll probably take a number of WD-40 sprays and laundry washings if you have a dark-colored crayon and light-colored clothing.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

This calls for his IMDB link!

http://us.imdb.com/name/nm2460317/

Hmmm, it says he played Corrections Officer Bennie Williams on one episode of Law & Order. No footnote about whether Officer Williams became a body. Did I misunderstand that bantering?

And three years earlier, on Law & Order: SVU, he played an EMT.

And...And...just to prove how important an appearance on SyndieBAM can be for an aspiring WE/WE:
STARmeter: +160% since last week

Up to this question I'm good.

A: Iceland B: New Zealand
C: Angola D: Mali
The other three are too green to be suitable for a lunar environment (although I'm sure there are places that would be suitable - just as there were all sorts of places available for LOTR filming in New Zealand).
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:STQ $100,000

A: Gettysburg B: Antietam
C: Fredericksburg D: Chancellorsville
Since I wouldn't have used STQ I wouldn't have seen this questino. But had it occurred in the regular stack, I'd have approached it this way: I've been to three of the four battle sites (not Chancellorsville). I know that Gettysburg was in July 1863, Antietam was in 1862, as was Fredericksburg. Since I can eliminate them, it'd be time for the 50/50 and hope A and D were the two remaining ones.
