British actor best known for playing the ship's captain in Titanic and the King of Rohan in Lord of the Rings, along with numerous other character roles.

My favorite scene in the whole trilogy is where Mr. Hill sits on the throne for hours and is turned from the frazzled minion of Saruman into the King of Rohan by makeup artists. He was great in all his scenes.
