I just watched Wednesday's Master Minds.

Some guy tied the Master Mind at the end, but won by getting his tie-breaker question right. He returns today (Thursday).

Oh yeah, his name is Leszek.

I just watched it. I'm surprised they let him on after his J! success. They didn't let him say his winnings paid for him becoming an archaeologist.

How do you know what they "let him say?" You seem to be unacquainted with the concept of humility. Whenever I've seen him, he has always appeared to be genuinely humble.

Of course, I don't know what they told him, but when they interviewed me, they told me I couldn't talk about my time in the Hot Seat. I'd say it's safe to assume Leszek had a similar instruction.

Unfortunately his second appearance didn't go as well. I thought sure he'd win again after he dominated in the earlier rounds, but a typewriter keyboard question did him in.
Spoiler
His last question was what vowel was furthest to the right on a QWERTY keyboard. He said "U"; Muffy got it right with "O".

Why not, they let Ken on after his J success.

Jannings? He's one of the executive producers. The game is his idea.
