WFH Friday

#1 Post by christie1111 » Tue Mar 10, 2020 1:29 pm

Just got a new email. It is sort of a test frive to see if our IT system can handle the number of people on out IT system.

When I told my husband by test, he also said all New Rochelle, NY schools are closed.

Good thing I can work from home.

And now indefinitely to WFH until further notice. Which is good because my grandson's school is also closed until further notice.

Seems like the network held up.

S&S's on-line ordering did not. But I did get a pick up order in for a pick up tomorrow between 11-12. There may not have anything to put in my bags, but I will take what they have.

I had bought extra TP when it was on sale earlier this month not because of the virus but because I am cheap! But that and water bottle hoarding I don't understand.

Mode of transmission is apparently airborne or contact with others like shaking hands, etc.

Stay safe, stay well, but calm down and wash your hands a lot.

I am not minimizing the danger here, but understand better!

I am happy to say that my company is sending free hand wash, etc to areas hardest hit. They haven't sent how much yet but we do send a lot of product whenever there is a disaster. And this qualifies in my mind.
