One of my first thoughts on hearing this brought back a fond Bored memory.
In the early, active days here-we had a poster who had worked on some of Rush's parody songs.

I've never liked him. He is a loud, obnoxious blow-hard who doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time. All that being said, I wish the best for him. This is not something that should not afflict anyone and I hope for his recovery.

Trump is going to award the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh. I'll refrain from further comment.

Rush has on rare occasions issued a half-hearted apology when he's been threatened with a loss of advertisers. But there's far more examples easily available on Youtube.

There was a local effort a long while back to boycott Rush advertisers and get the show off the air, but it fizzled when it was discovered how few locals actually listened to the show.
I listened to it three or four times back then just to see what it was all about, and every time he told a lie about me or my family. I figured if he lied every time I happened to tune in, he must be lying on every broadcast.
