Tonight I cook

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Sat Jan 25, 2020 4:03 pm

Comfort food. I'm tired of eating leftover crap I didn't like in the first place. Tired of grilled shit and eating ice cream to fill in the blanks. I'm skinnier than I've ever been in my adult life and I need tasty comestibles.

So here's my gourmet menu-
Meatloaf, mashed taters, green bean casserole, πŸ˜ƒ, and sauteed onions.

Yum fucking yum. Yes.
Well, then

I'm going to cook in just a few minutes: Shrimp and Broccoli over rice with hot sweet Thai chili sauce.

Sounds wonderful! I cooked a sirloin tip roast with carrots and potatoes, lots of gravy and also green beans.
One of the kids favorite meals.

That was on Wednesday, so that's it for my cooking this week. Tomorrow is a baby shower for my granddaughter who is expecting twin boys in about 4-5 weeks. I still haven't decided if I'm going since my eye is still very black.

After some comfort food, I'll bet you could use some comfort dessert.

How about a slice of apple pie ala Billy Bored. Get your sporks ready! I'll be right over.

If you don't feel like cleaning, here's a suggestion on what to cook. --Bob

Boonie just put a meatloaf together. A slow cooked Italian meatloaf.

We're having roasted veggies with it.

We are scheduled for a chili cookout at the Moose in Wildwood on Super Bowl Sunday. If it snows, we won't go. Boonie makes a lovely chili.
