Know to some folks as Tyne Daly's tv-husband on Cagney and Lacey (for which he won an Emmy), but to most of us from his various roles, primarily as Willie Loomis, on the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. He had a stroke last year and has been pretty much in hospice ever since. Age 86.
