Decades: Bandstand Announcement

#1 Post by Vandal » Tue Oct 15, 2019 5:42 am

This will be the final week for Decades: Bandstand, 2019. It's more time-consuming than I had hoped and I have to get back to a regular writing routine.

All decades will be represented during this final week. I combined what I think are the three least popular decades (50s, 00s, 10s) into one track because it got difficult to find non-obscure questions for these eras.

If I can muster enough material, there will be a Grand Finale on Monday.

As always, I thank you for playing Decades:Bandstand.

Thanks for the fun so far!

I may miss both Friday and Monday. :( I leave for a safari Friday morning, and I do not know what the computer facilities are at the lodge.

In case I do miss, just give me the same score as LB for those days.

Even worse, I'll probably miss the Broncos game! I missed the first two, then during the last two minutes of 3 and 4 I watched us snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and finally when I started watching the entire games with rapt attention, we win!

Gotta remember to set my lineup when I get back Thursday.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Oh, please. You think I'd waste a bullet on some mangy rodent?
