There's almost certainly something there, but I haven't found a way to connect it to the songs/artists yet.

Sorry, I don't have time to write this up better right now. I'll try to come back and fix it later. But that's it.

Good work!!! I had noticed that Verne anagrammed to Never, but didn't make the connection...

Complicated Tangredi, so bear with me:

One person on the B-list is connected to another on the same list with one same name as an associate of the first. The "missing" name of the second person is an anagram of a hit song by one of the artists on the A-list.

B-11 Giuseppe VERDI (Garibaldi) + B-86 Nebuchadnezzar = DRIVE, by A-23 The Cars

B-50 Charles Dudley POP Warner + B-97 Amos Alonzo Stagg = O.P.P, by A-39 Naughty by Nature

Apparently, too complicated this time! Sorry for that. It didn't seem quite that complicated in my head when I was working it out.

I think, for me, it was the fact that both lists were "displaced," in other words, that I had to go one degree off list to see the connection. It probably would have been too easy to have made the songs the actual anagrams, but on the other hand, maybe not.

They are only related via the name Giuseppe.

The person in B-11 is Guiseppe Garibaldi. Another Giuseppe (who CAN be tied to Nebuchadnezzar) is Giuseppe Verdi, whose last name anagrams to "Drive."
