That's easier said than done. The racists will simply spout a version of this same argument and claim that they are just trying to "preserve our heritage," the same as they do with the Confederate monuments.

There are millions more of us than them. If Americans of all races wear the Betsy Ross flag on their sneakers, shirts, etc., the racists will be overwhelmed.

BTW, many of the ways we use the modern flag, such as putting it on our clothes or holding it flat on a football field, are deemed disrespectful and unpatriotic by the federal flag law.
