I think you missed the point of my post. It was that Trump wanted to talk about classified details of the wall construction and the general had to tactfully steer him away from that.
And of course, people only have to go a few miles away from Trump's expensive new toy to find plenty of places to cross without disincentives.

Huh?
I don't know about the leader of Singapore, but some of Trump's buddies like Putin and Kim Jong Un are as mutually offensive as he is.

His wife is a professional model and his daughter is a fashion designer. His belief that he's an expert in everything and his refusal to listen to those around him, even about trivial stuff, is bizarre.

And when you consider that Trump held up the military aid to the Ukraine just a few days before the call, this sounds more and more like the scene at the beginning of
The Godfatherwhen the mortician asks Don Corleone for help. The only difference is that Trump spells out what he wants during the course of the call and offers the assistance of Barr and Giuliani.
