Easy come, easy go

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:52 pm

I won't be going to the NCAA Round 2 after all.

The client I was taking was unexpectedly called to Florida on business today, and he won't be back in time for the game. I don't have any other clients sizeable enough to justify the cost of the tickets, so I returned them to the firm in the hope of finding a better use.

Adding insult to injury, it appears that I'll be working all weekend. I'd have been able to get out of at least one day of work, based on client development, but that rationale just evaporated.

Sigh. :( I love what I do. But sometimes it's a pain in the ass. --Bob

FWIW, I'll be working on Easter too.
