Remember this, if the Supreme Court upholds same-sex marriage. --Bob
You just made partner in law firm and you try this approach?
The "mob" in this case were the states that decided either via the ballot box or the legislature to approve or prohibit same-sex marriage.
If the Supreme Court decides to make the practice legal, it is hardly the "mob ruling." Rather it was the judicial system. Did I miss something?
I also don't see how they could rule otherwise, btw.
I simply enjoy seeing those discomfited by the facts in evidence resorting to hypotheticals to buttress their 'belief.'
Zimmerman shot Martin, claiming self-defense. He had to be 'guilty.' A trial and a jury's decision otherwise be damned.
His girlfriend in this case decided to retract her allegation. She must be under duress somehow. The authorities didn't find a basis to proceed with any judicial proceedings based on the evidence presented so they dropped the charges. But Zimmerman must be guilty because....he's Zimmerman.
Not much press on this aspect of the case because it doesn't fit the narrative of a bad man who escaped justice. Except, of course, that he didn't. He was found not guilty.
Or, in this case, with insufficient evidence to proceed.
But that's not what garnered widespread media attention or comments here. Only the allegation of wrong-doing did.
