“The Amazing Race” replacing cancelled “Viva Laughlin”

CBS is singing the blues over “Viva Laughlin,” which has been officially canceled after just two episodes.

Emmy winner “The Amazing Race” will take “Laughlin’s” place in the Sunday 8 p.m. slot - where the reality show resided last year - effective Nov. 4. A repeat “CSI” will run in the time period next week.

That was pretty fast. But this is good news indeed.

The promos so sucked I didn't even tape it and I was taping the lead-ins.

Hooray that Amazing Race is coming back so soon!!!

I actually watched Viva L for 35 minutes before stopping and erasing it. It was horrible.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
