Today is the 2 year anniversary of my sister's stem cell transplant. They call your transplant date your birthday because you start over. You have no immune system. You get a new blood type. You even need to get all your shots over again.
I invite you to go over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday. She has a picture of old Jackson there which is one of my favorite kid picks. Happy boy with black beans all over his face:

She would very much enjoy the comments over there because she is having a rough time with feeling ill lately. Deb is having some issues with sores in her mouth that we fear are complications from her transplant. She's been sick and run down, so I am hoping it is more viral and transitory than graft versus host of the mouth.
