Dead in the water at 8K unless the ATA is convincing. Otherwise I may well have to burn up other lifelines to get past it.

If i get past there I might get to the 100K Q were again I was SOL. Which is odd as Alien is a favorite movie of mine. Should have known the source of the USCSS Nostromo, 180286.

Klondike Gold Rush NHP actually has two units. One is located in Skagway, Alaska, but the other part is located in Seattle, commemorating both the beginning and end point for the migration. Luckily the writers chose not to include Washington as a distractor.

What the transciber didn't mention was that John used a common Bored word in his editorial to this question. He said that sports was "in his wheelhouse".

$25K: No clue. Ask the audience first. PAF if they don't give a definitive answer.

$50K: If I still have the PAF here, use it; otherwise, switch.

$50K #2: Knew this one immediately.

$100K: If I still have the STQ here, use it; otherwise, take the 50:50 and walk away cuz I have NFC®.

The way he deliberated over this question I wonder if he thought there was some sort of trick involved.

A: David Hasselhoff
B: Lorenzo Lamas

The reason I knew this one was because the Beach Boys appeared on an episode of "Full House".

John decides to switch the question
With the way that Meredith pronounced the name it sounded Portugese, so it was either A or C. I guessed C, but might have tried the 50/50 to see what was left.

Well, maybe he could make an educated guess.

My first thought was B, but I'd have used a lifeline to confirm. Probably PAF.

Yeah, this was the second time this week that I felt like we had a BB who had kept a low profile going into the Hot Seat. :)

We may have our own jargon, but this isn't a phrase unique to us, after all.

Now if someone says they felt "jipted", that would be something else entirely.

True. It was a combination of the jargon and good game play above the level of that seen with the usual "personable" contestants.
