Retroactive good luck to vettech

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Tue Apr 26, 2011 8:54 pm

Vettech's long-delayed air date has finally arrived. She'll be on the show April 27, and her signature line advertises a carryover to April 28. Retroactive good luck to her! --Bob

Spoiler
vettech began late enough that they could have done a 1 question contestant and then started her off fresh tomorrow.
She zipped through three questions, and we will see what we could hopefully describe as "most" of her appearance tomorrow.

Hey, I waited long enough, dammit!

And, ewww, those aren't flattering at all.

Thanks for the good wishes, all. Now to see what tomorrow brings.

It appears that their source was the Kentucky Fun Facts page on the kids' section of the official Kentucky state government site. No problem with the bluegrass fact, but a few of the 51 other facts may be questionable.

If those are not flattering, you must be spectacular in person. Well, we know the personality part already.

DVRing tomorrow!

I watched and will watch today as well!

It's exciting to have someone I "know" in the hot seat. Seems like it's been forever.

LOL! I was hoping noone would notice that. I forgot I had it when I went on, then it got confiscated during a commercial break. I felt like I was back in grade school.

LOL - sorry. I thought that maybe it was a cap/bridge that was a different color, but it came and went, so then I thought gum.

You are not the first to have been caught. It have seen it happen twice when I have been in the audience. The AP comes out with a tissue - it is kinda funny.

Looking forward to this afternoon!

"Easy on the eyes" is what I saw.

Nice job so far and I look forward to today's show.

After reading the article Marley posted, I now know I was wrong about the vet part of your bored name. I thought you worked with squirrels. :D I also liked the bit about you wanting to visit all the states. Just think of all the bored buddies you could meet. Scary.

Nice article! I hope you get to all 50 states! Which ones are you missing? I assume a bunch of the flyover states (no offense to those in the flyover states!)

I also got a chuckle out of this in the comments about the article...

Thought it was ironic that he misspelled prove but it's prolly a typo

Back during my vet tech days, someone did come in with a squirrel once that they had hit. They said it was barely breathing and he brought it in for us to euthanize. We opened the box and he suddenly sprang to life, leapt out and started running around. It was quite a sight, us running around trying to wrangle him in. He finally ran outside and disappeared.

Then there was the chipmunk that bit my finger and wouldn't let go...man, I miss those days. (Seriously!)

Hmmm...I'm guessing this somehow relates to a question on today's show.
