This isn't near lb, is it?
Yes. The same storm continued into Illinois and touched down halfway between LB's house and the bowling alley where he was prevented from getting another 500 series.

LB, cats, and squirrels are okay.

I think it just moved closer. :(

Mom is visiting there but thinks she will be able to fly home on time on Monday evening, if everyone else who's been delayed has been dealt with.

Or not, which will be OK because she's off work all week.

Closer to me than him. Currently living only a ten minute walk from the airport. I was on the MetroLink heading home when the storm hit. We were at the Hanley Station (last stop before the airport) and they told the driver not to leave the station. We were held there about two minutes when my friends daughter called and asked where I was at. Told her I was going home and she told me about the tornado hitting the terminal. If I had caught the train before the one I was on I would have been right in the middle of it.

Lots of damage in the area. Missed my old house by about half a mile.

The Temple University softball team, which was in St. Louis to play the Billikens' softball team, was at the airport when the tornado struck.

They are on their way home by bus. Everyone is safe.
